Atelier dans les Alpes avec Nicolas Nova et Marie Dommenget, explorant l'impact antropocène. A travers différents enregistrements autour de Chamonix, nous avons créé des distorsions visuelles sur une carte 3D, une interview audiovisuelle des montagnes.
EN: Workshop in the Alps with Nicolas Nova and Marie Dommenget, exploring the antropocene inpact. Through different records around Chamonix, we created some visual distortions on a 3D map, an audiovisual interview of the mountains.
FR: Dans le cadre d'une recherche sur la technosphère et son hybridation avec la nature, nous avons exploré et collecté des données dans la région de Chamonix. Guidés par nos oreilles, nous avons traqué les sons de la vallée, allant des sons urbains aux sons de la nature, tout en répertoriant les images qui leur sont associées. Au cours de cette interview de la vallée étendue sur 3 jours, nous avons pu révéler, grâce aux différents prélèvements effectués, un paysage sonore que nous avons restitué à travers une visualisation en 3 dimensions. Nous avons choisi de représenter la région de Chamonix comme une sorte d'entité vivante, qui interagit avec les différentes fréquences qui composent son environnement.
EN: As part of a research on the technosphere and its hybridization with nature, we explored and collected data in the Chamonix region. Guided by our ears, we tracked down the sounds of the valley, ranging from urban sounds to nature sounds, while listing the images associated with them. During this interview of the valley extended over 3 days, we were able to reveal, thanks to the various samples taken, a sound landscape which we reported through a 3-dimensional visualization. We chose to represent the region of Chamonix as a kind of living entity, which interacts with the different frequencies that compose its environment.
